Chunyi Lin’s Rainbow Meditation – Advanced Qigong from SFQ

One of the most celebrated meditations at the Spring Forest Qigong Centre is the Rainbow Meditation. There are scores of meditation guides at this centre, several for each level, so what makes this one so special? Why is it that the Rainbow Meditation makes so many appearances and why is it that is the focus for many students at this Qigong school?

The Popularity of the Rainbow Meditation

The Rainbow Meditation really is one of the most popular meditations at the SFQ Centre. It is something you can purchase as a standalone guide, but it is also something that is discussed in many of their seminars and retreats, which are held at the SFQ Healing Centre in Minnesota and are also taken on the road to venues across North America. In fact, one such retreat, which took place at the Healing Centre in 2015, was recorded and is now available on the SFQ website. This course is listed as the Wisdom Embodiment Package and is an advanced course for advanced students, one that includes the Rainbow Meditation, as well as a number of other techniques.

One of the reasons it is so popular at the Spring Forest Qigong Centre is that it forms a major part of the level 4 program. All levels at the SFQ contain many different elements. Level 1, for instance, contains everything from the SFQ Fundamentals course (which itself includes the Small Universe meditation, among other things) to Qi-ssage Healing and more. Level 5, which is the next level after the one in which you take Rainbow Meditation, contains the huge 24-step Awakening the Master Within program, as well as a teleseminar.

Level 4, however, contains Rainbow Meditation. And that’s more or less it. You are advised to take other courses. For instance, you should look to take the Wisdom Embodiment Package and the Deep, Deep in Stillness Meditation, both of which are also level 4 programs, but these are not essential and at the advanced level, nothing comes close to Rainbow Meditation for its importance.

How to Perform Rainbow Meditation

This is not an easy meditation, so don’t feel that you can just jump in without prior knowledge or training because not only will you struggle to perform it correctly, but you also won’t be able to benefit from it as you should. There is a reason the courses at the Spring Forest Qigong Centre are structured and graded, and there is no way around that.

When you play the Rainbow Meditation you will be told how you should sit and what you should do with your hands and your breath. Master Lin is the one doing the narration and once you close your eyes and take a few deep breaths, it will feel like he is right there with you, meditating near you and guiding you through. It is that connection that makes the Rainbow Meditation guide so special.

A lot of the techniques that make the Rainbow Meditation what it is revolve around visualizations. You will be required to visualize a rainbow sitting on top of the world, before this then comes to you and rushes through your body. This will connect you to the universe and it will also help to cleanse your body. These are two of the most important aspects of the Rainbow Meditation, as is the fact that his meditation can help you to open your third eye.

What Can Rainbow Meditation Cure?

The third eye is an important tool in Qigong and it is the Rainbow Meditation that will teach you how to develop and use this more than any other course. But that is not the only goal of this meditation and it can also be used to heal you of a number of ailments. In fact, the reason that the Rainbow Meditation forms such a major component of many retreats is because it can be used, in addition with other techniques, to heal you and others of many potentially life threatening diseases. These are things that other Qigong techniques can not even touch upon, but things that Rainbow Meditation can help to heal in just a few short sessions.

Here are a few of the issues that Rainbow Meditation can help to resolve, but remember that it goes much further than this. Because as soon as you learn to master your third eye and unlock your potential as a healer, then there is no end to the good you can do for your own health and for the health of others:

  • Cancer in all of its forms
  • HIV and AIDs
  • Serious mental health problems (mood disorders, behavior disorders, psychosis, etc.,)
  • Hyperactivity and OCD
  • Bone pains and bone disease
  • Kidney disease
  • Liver disease
  • Heart and blood problems
