This handmade Tenmoku (Jian Zhan) tea cup is crafted from fine-grade porcelain clay and fired at 800–1200°C. It is durable and perfect for green tea, oolong, black tea, or as a gift.

The distinctive patterns form during the firing process. The intense heat interacts with the minerals in the glaze and clay. What’s more, these patterns change depending on the specific mineral levels, as well as the cup’s location in the kiln. It means that no two cups are ever 100% the same.
