This tea sampler box includes:
- Premium Grade Aged Puerh Tea from 1990: The Daizu People hand pluck and hand roll the finest tea leaves before withering and fermenting. They then store the tea in optimal conditions to encourage slow aging. As the years pass, enzymes and microbes transform bitter compounds into sweeter, softer, and more rounded flavors. The end product is a tea that’s rich and complex.
- Competition Grade Medium/Heavy Roast Oolong: We use a Muzha Tieguanyin cultivar from Taiwan. After harvesting the leaves, farmers sun-dry them and then roast them slowly over wood fires. It has all the classic creamy flavors of Taiwanese Oolong, but also has a distinctive woody flavor stemming from those wood fires.
- Premium Grade Light Roasted Oolong: A crisp and refreshing Oolong that embodies the classic characteristics of Taiwanese tea. It’s sweet and floral, but the lighter roasting means it’s also delicate.
- Gourmet Black Tea from Taiwan: Our Gourmet Black Tea is single-origin and organic. This competition-grade variety has notes of wild honey due to the unique mountainous climate and cold, misty conditions in which the plants grow.
This tea sampler pack is perfect for home brewing and travel. The primary option contains tea bags (36g total), but a loose leaf alternative is available.
Crafted by renowned tea masters in China and Taiwan, these teas offer uniquely complex flavors for tea drinkers of any level. It’s a distinctive and unquestionably Taiwanese selection that we chose after a decade of visiting farms in Taiwan and China.
Love the Oolongs and Black tea. The Puerh is also very good and makes me actually like dark teas again. Definitely will be buying more.

As a longtime coffee connoisseur, I have had a difficult time finding teas that I both enjoy and find utility in. I have always liked the idea of drinking less coffee and more tea for health reasons, but have never enjoyed the flavor. These teas have opened up a new world to me. I have finally found quality tea that tastes good and provides energy and focus. These teas are distinct and specific but not overwhelming. Each tea has a pleasant flavor with underlying complexities and notes. I started with the Black Honey, which has a mild and intriguing sweetness to it. I have since transitioned into really enjoying oolong, which is fresh and complex and provides a wonderful energy that is balanced and healthy feeling. I also really enjoy pu’er. It is a newer flavor to my palate, with soothingly earthy notes. Beyond the flavors, I also really enjoy the clean, crisp focus I get from these teas. Very different than coffee. The energy I get when drinking this tea is smooth and calm, but laser focused. I had never experienced that from a tea before. Which brings me to the quality. The quality of these teas is unprecedented in western tea availability. Teas have always given me a bit of an upset stomach and nauseating feeling (funny since I have been drinking coffee for years). I don’t at all get those feelings with Qiful teas. The Qiful brand provides an access to quality Chinese teas that I would have otherwise never found. I liked these teas so much I have already purchased a second box (within the first month). I am excited to explore more Qiful teas and learn more about the art of drinking tea.
