Handmade Yixing Zisha teapot from authentic Zhuni clay. Aged over 15 years and sized at 170ml. Great for sipping Puerh, the teapot provides enough tea for 1-3 people.

Zhuni Clay teapots are typically very small. The clay shrinks during firing, and larger pieces rarely make it out of the kiln without cracking. Skilled artisans craft intricate pieces that accommodate the shrinking and ensure the final piece is strong, stable, and easy to use.

Our Yixing Zisha Teapot features a handle for easy pouring, and the striking vermillion color common to Zhuni or Zhu Ni Clay pieces. Incidentally, the clay is actually yellow in its natural state. It’s the iron content in the clay that creates the dark red coloring during firing.
