Taiwan Wenshan Tea

There are two main types of Taiwan Wenshan Tea – Muzha Tieguanyin and Baozhong (Paochung) tea. Muzha Tieguanyin is a roasted Oolong cultivar that uses traditional frying and methods to produce a roasted tasting Oolong. The roasted flavors can vary but many tea masters prepare the tea somewhere between medium and heavy roast. They are the perfect add to an Oolong lineup or as a coffee replacement. Wenshan Baozhong on the other hand is a lighter roasted variant and is light yellow in color. It is fresh and a nice light roasted choice for mid-morning sipping. Our Taiwan Wenshan Tea is premium quality and hand-picked selections from local Wenshan Tea farmers.
