Tibetan Tea Bags

Our Tibetan Tea Bags contain Aged & Premium Tibetan Tea, packaged in compostable bags that replicate teapot brewing. Enjoy these exceptional teas on the go, including our signature 1990 Tibetan Tea and rare 1970 harvests.

These teas, part of the Heicha “Dark Tea” variety, originated in the Sichuan Basin during the 1970s and 1990s. Tea makers crafted them in Sichuan and shipped them directly to Tibet, later distributing them across Asia. After storage near Lhasa, these teas returned to the USA, where we now offer them.

These selections feature unique Tibetan cultivars with distinct flavors. Known for aiding digestion and perfect for gatherings, these teas suit any time of day, including evenings. The 1990 offering introduces you to Tibetan Tea, while the 1970 harvest attracts Aged Tea collectors seeking one of the rarest varieties.
