Tea masters first created the recipe for 7572 Puerh Tea in 1975, which is where the “75” part of the name comes from.
The second “7” in the name refers to the grade of tea, using a scale where larger numbers indicate larger tea leaves. The “2” is the code for the Menghai Tea Factory that produces this gourmet selection.
It’s surprisingly smooth and creamy, but also deep and malty. What’s more, the lengthy aging process means there is very little bitterness. You can brew these tea leaves multiple times, increasing the recommended steeping period for each subsequent brew.
