Description
Explore this Cha Tou Puerh Tea aged from 2000. Smooth yet uniquely flavored with an earthy, yet malty taste. Available in loose leaf form.
Cha Tou is also known as “Natural Tuo.” It is a by-product of the fermentation process in Puerh ripe tea known as Wo Dui, or piling. Formed during the stacking process, these tea lumps are rich in substances like pectin, resulting in a tight-knotted appearance and a mellow taste. High-quality Cha Tou is identified by its firmness, purity, aroma, soup color, and taste. It can be brewed multiple times without losing flavor.
We consider this to be a very naipao (multiple steeping) Puerh tea with just the right amount of Puerh taste, aged aroma and unique flavor profile.
