This Purple Tea is a Gourmet 2025 selection from Taiwan’s Shanlinxi area. The area is best known for creating needle shaped varieties of green and black teas. However, lesser known to the area is such purple teas that grow wild harvest deep within the nearby forest environments. This selection captures the best of Taiwanese needle shaped tea that tastes between a premium Black and Oolong tea from the area. Grown at over 6,000 feet one elevation in a pollution free environment.
