Handmade Tea Cups & Tea Pots

Explore our range of handmade tea cups and tea pots. Items include Japanese-style Tenmoku tea cups (Jianzhan). Crafted by Taiwanese pottery masters, these traditional cups are coated in a thick glaze and then fired at very high temperatures. The heat crystallizes the glaze and creates unique patterns, resulting in an original, beautiful piece of art that is durable, practical, and may enhance the flavors of premium teas.

We also offer Zisha clay cups in premium Duan Ni and Zhu Ni varieties. This unique, iron-rich clay is known for its ability to “breathe”. It’s said that it can gradually absorb the flavors of tea over time. As a result, it improves and intensifies the flavor of every successive cup.

Handmade teapots in porcelain and Zisha materials are also available. These include selections from renowned Chinese tea masters Zhou Guizhen, Xu Han Tang, Gu Jing Zhou, and their students. All products are sourced directly from pottery masters across Asia. As they are handmade and produced in very small quantities, all of our cups and teapots are extremely limited. They usually sell out very quickly.
